Aloha.
We’ve just completed the first of the Gonna Love It (GLI) Tennis Series tournaments.
Just like our pilot tournament last December, we saw superb tennis from our local talents.  
We are so lucky to have an amazing breadth and depth of tennis athletes in our midst.
Both the Winners and Finalists in the main draws and the back draws will be invited to
compete in the Year End Championship in December 2010 where they will compete with
the "best of the best" on the island. 
The Open division will compete for a one week stay at a Luxury Resort and the 3.5 and
below Division will compete for more cash.

We'd like to thank Donna Bondallian of Holua Tennis Center and TennisCize, Inc. for
hosting the tournament. Her hospitality and willingness to help is always appreciated. She
provides one of the best tennis facilities and programs this side of the island. 
We'd like to thank Sam & Ailyn Ounyoung of Krua Thai Cuisine for providing delectable
Thai cuisine to our players and making such ono foods available to fans & spectators.
Come and enjoy such culinary specialties at their restaurant near the corner of Henry
Street & Kuakini Highway.
A big thank you to Nick Yamasaki for helping with the draw and scheduling. Mahalo also

We'd like to thank Big Island Video News for coming out and helping us with our goal to
promote and grow tennis.
Most of all, we want to thank all the players who participated in the tournament. Without
you, this tournament would not be a success.  I hope you all enjoyed playing in the
tournament as much as we enjoyed putting it together for you.
Finally, we'd like to thank the tennis community for their overwhelming support and seal
of approval of the GLI Tennis Series. We will continue to work hard to provide fun and
quality tennis with your support. Please stay tuned for the next GLI Tennis Series
tournament which we project to be in May.
