TOURNAMENT OBJECTIVES: 1. Help raise scholarship funds for eligible college bound students 2. Promote the sport of tennis 3. Get new and seasoned players involved as well as get inactive players back in the game 4. Renew friendships through a competitive but fun-filled family oriented event 5. Give back to the community GLI FILAM TENNIS RULES EVENTS: Mens, Womens, and Mixed o Combined ratings Rating of both players must add up to the division they want to play in See examples below: o 4.0 player + 4.0 player can play in 8.0 division o 3.5 player + 4.0 player can play in the 7.5 division Teams can always play up if they’d like See example below: 4.0 player + 4.0 player can choose to play in 8.5 or Open if they’d like Maximum of 1.0 difference between team mates See examples below: o 3.0 player can play with a 4.0 player o 3.0 player cannot play with a 4.5 player Players can play in up to two events (Mens & Mixed OR Womens & Mixed) Players 18 and under must be rated by their coach FORMAT: Best 2 of 3 tiebreak sets; No Ad scoring ALL MATCHES (Mens, Womens & Mixed) will be played on BOTH DAYS RULES:  USTA rules and regulations (“Friend At Court 2017" Edition) NOTES: * Tournament may exercise right to change above rules at its discretion in response to tournament participation, courts limitations, time constraints, and other requirements. * Your results in the tourney won't impact your NTRP rating.
