Aloha,
On behalf of the Kona Visayan Club (KVC), we would like to send our deepest Mahalo to
all the participants, volunteers, and supporters that made this charitable event A HUGE
SUCCESS.
Although just our third year, we have grown significantly. We had 63 players
during our inaugural year, 93 players last year, and this year, we had over 170 players.
That's almost double the number than last year and almost triple than our first
year.
To help with our fundraising efforts, back again was our Silent Auction and it was
bigger than ever. We had over 30 amazing items including a week's stay in Las Vegas,
tennis clinics and memberships, dive instruction, snorkel cruise, fitness club membership,
original oil paintings, framed art/picture, guitar lessons, brunch/lunch and dinner
certificates, gift baskets, storage rental, grocery certificates, microwave oven, and so
on.
New this year was Hit for Prizes! Tennis prizes donated by Tony Doliente and a
Babolat racquet through Mario Celarie were placed on the court and attendees of all ages
vied to hit and win as many of them. It was truly a hit and a win for all.
And of course, we couldn't have done this without the support of our Sponsors and
Donors. Their kindness and generosity are very much appreciated and will go a long
way in helping our charitable efforts.

School). We are proud and honored to help in some way these deserving kids pursue
their dreams and ambitions through higher education.
We hope you enjoyed the tournament ... the competition, the camaraderie, fellowship,
and most of all FUN in the process of raising funds for charity. There is nothing
more fulfilling and meaningful giving back to the community through the sport we love.
We also hope you enjoyed the event t-shirts, all the giveaways, the silent auction, hit
for prizes and last but not least .... the scrumptious food from Tante's Restaurant, Krua
Restaurant, and other Filipino culinary delights prepared by the unselfish and
civic-minded members of the Kona Visayan Club.
We've posted this year's results plus tons of pictures. Check them out to see if you're in one of
them.
We hope you all enjoyed the event as much as we had the pleasure of organizing
it. We are truly honored to have your support for this charitable event and we
